Mirage on Display   Denel Cheetah C -   Active Duty and "Spotty"

Leigh Jackson, who shared with us his photos of the Mirage F1AZ has also sent some images of a service Cheetah C and the famous "Spotty" Cheetah C.  As Leigh describes them, "I have a special surprise coming up for you; this one is going to blow your socks off...  Have you ever heard of the Cheetah C from Second Squadron named "Spotty"? [yes]  Last year she retired, her last flight ending in Swartkop Air Force Base.  I was very fortunate to be ten meters from the runway where she touched down, flying four touch-n-goes and finally laying herself to rest."  Click images for a larger view.
