25 November 2022 - I found a nice repaint for use with Alexandre Remy's MSFS 2020 conversion of the Kirk Olsson and Henk Schuitemaker Mirage F1.  The repaint by FuzzyBear11 is of a Mirage F1CZ in South Africa Air Force (SAAF) markings.  You need to carefully follow the installation instructions on the download page.

23 October 2022 - I've been trolling the MSFS world to see what is available as freeware and have found a few items.  First is a very good looking rendition of BA 103 Cambrai-Epinoy (LFQI) by developer 'alexph' — his first scenery.  Using two add-on libraries it really looks great with plenty of MSFS type detail.

5 October 2022 - The latest update by Alexandre Remy to the Mirage F1 by Kirk Olsson and Henk Schuitemaker for use in MSFS 2020 now includes the ability to change external loads via a tablet that can be made to appear in the cockpit via a switch.  Also the HUD and MFD can now be be turned on and off via cockpit buttons.

25 September 2022 - Alexandre Remy has continued his work on the Mirage F1 by Kirk Olsson and Henk Schuitemaker for use in MSFS.  With a steady flow of updates he has added the F1CT version, made changes to the external configurations, added working gauges, HUD, and navigation map display -- no more broken gauge displays in the cockpit.  Included are seven external configuration/livery pairs.

15 September 2022 - At the beginning of the COVID pandemic I was asked by Franco Pizzagalli for permission to convert the Super Étendard Modernisé by Romain Lucas for use with X-Plane 11.  Having been involved with the original project yet unable to contact Romain I authorized the update and conversion.  So for folks who use X-Plane 11 a strong beta example is available free of charge from the Flightsim.com Store.  The sales page includes a list of features as well as a link to download the manual.  Read this review.

27 August 2022 - Here is a Rafale C repaint by Mark (Tranquil) Beale.  This aircraft is from EC 3/30 'Lorraine' stationed at BA 118 Mont-de-Marsan (LFBM).  It wears special markings for the 2022 NATO Tiger Meet held in Greece.  The textures are for use with the AI Rafale packages by Nick Black and MAIW.

21 August 2022 - Sylvain Parouty and the RFN Group have released two new items.  The first is an updated verion of the French carriers Foch and Clemenceau.  They are now designed for P3D v4 and v5 and include PBR textures.  The second is an updated RFN Fleet Configuration Gauge with new features for the RFN Foch, Clemenceau, and Charles de Gaulle carriers as well as the RFN-FLCP scenery add-on.

14 August 2022 - Another AI Rafale repaint by Mark (Tranquil) Beale.  This time applied to Rafale M nº30 of the Centre d'Expérimentations Pratiques de l'Aéronautique Navale (CEPA/10S) at BAN Hyères/Le Palyvestre (LFTH).  The special markings are for the 30th Anniversary of the first flight of Rafale M01.

6 August 2022 - Another Rafale M repaint by Mark (Tranquil) Beale.  The aircraft is from Flotille 11F stationed at BAN Landivisiau (LFRJ) and onboard the French carrier Charles de Gaulle (R91).  The special tail markings were applied to two Rafale M of Flotille 11F for the French Navy / Naval Air recruitment days.

29 July 2022 - Here is a Rafale M repaint by Mark (Tranquil) Beale.  This aircraft is one of two from Flotille 11F painted to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the NATO Tiger Meets and the 10th Anniversary of the Rafale in Flotille 11F service.  Flotille 11F is stationed at BAN Landivisiau (LFRJ) and onboard the French carrier Charles de Gaulle (R91).  The textures are for use with the AI Rafale packages by Nick Black and MAIW.

20 July 2022 - Over the past couple of months Mark (Tranquil) Beale has been painting many Mirage 2000 and Rafale schemes applied by the Armée de l'Air in 2022 for special events.  He has made them available and here is a Rafale C of EC 3/30 'Lorraine' stationed at BA 118 Mont-de-Marsan (LFBM).  It wears desert camouflage colors with special markings to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the unit.  The textures are for use with the AI Rafale packages by Nick Black and MAIW.

2 July 2022 - Special design applied to a Mirage 2000C from Escadron de Chasse 2/5 (EC 2/5) 'Île de France' based at BA 115 Orange-Caritat (LFMO).  The special decoration is for the 80th anniversary of 'Île de France' and for the squadron's deactivation this past month.  'Île de France' will return with the Rafale C.  The repaint is by Mark (Tranquil) Beale for use with the AI Mirage 2000 package for Prepar3Dv4 by Henk Schuitemaker.

27 June 2022 - Mark (Tranquil) Beale has painted a set of four textures for the AI Mirage 2000C by Henk Schuitemaker.  The textures are of four Mirage 2000C specially painted for the June 23 Deactivation Ceremony at BA 115 Orange-Caritat to represent the seven units that operated the 2000C: EC 1/5 'Vendée', EC 2/5 'Île de France', EC 3/5 'Comtat Venaissin', EC 1/12 'Cambrésis', EC 2/12 'Picarde', EC 4/33 'Vexin', and EC 3/11 'Corse'.

23 June 2022 - A withdrawel ceremony at BA 115 Orange-Caritat (LFMO) marked the end of the Mirage 2000C in French service and the official disbandment of Escadron de Chasse 2/5 (EC 2/5) 'Île de France', the last frontline operator of the original Mirage 2000C.  The Mirage 2000-5F and Mirage 2000D remain in service.

19 June 2022 - Another repaint by Mark (Tranquil) Beale.  This time a Mirage 2000C RDI of EC 2/5 'Île de France' at BA 115 Orange-Caritat (LFMO) with special "Mission Accomplie" scheme to commemorate the end of EC 2/5 operating the Mirage 2000.  The testures are intended for use with the AI Mirage 2000 package for Prepar3Dv4 by Henk Schuitemaker.

10 June 2022 - Mark (Tranquil) Beale has painted a Rafale B in the 2022 NATO Tiger Meet markings of ECE 01.030 'Côte d'Argent'.  The unit is assigned to the Centre d'Expertise Aérien Militaire (CEAM) at BA 118 Mont-de-Marsan.  The textures are for use with the AI Rafale packages by Nick Black and MAIW.

5 June 2022 - Mark (Tranquil) Beale has been painting a series of Rafale C and M aircraft in commemorative and special schemes for use with the AI Rafale packages by Nick Black and MAIW.  The first is a Rafale C flown by the 2022 Rafale Solo Display Team of ETR (Rafale Transition Squadron) 3/4 'Aquitaine' based at BA113 St Dizier (LFSI).

15 May 2022 - The Military AI Works have released a conversation package for the Fernando Martinez Mirage 2000 series to work in Prepar3d v4.  The package by Jean Claude Drockur includes all visual models and textures released through MAIW along with a conversion patch.

1 May 2022 - April was a slow month and a busy month at work.  I did some trolling and found some textures I hadn't seen before.  This first was a follow-on to a set of textures by Michel "COYOTTE" A. for the Mirage 2000 by Metal2Mesh.  This set includes four blue and desert camouflage schemes for fictional Red Flag type Aggressor aircraft.

10 April 2022 - Another scenery of an Armée de l'Air air base for MSFS by Alexandre Remy of the FAFZone.  This time BA113 St Dizier (LFSI).  The sceney includes bespoke airbase buildings, static aircraft and photoreal tile.

30 March 2022 - FAFZone have released v1.3 of their modifications to Henk Schuitemaker's P3Dv4 update to Kirk Olssen's Mirage F1.  This full package is for use with MSFS and includes textures by Pascal Colin for five aircraft of EC 4/30 'Vexin' while stationed at BA188 Djibouti-Ambouli.

12 March 2022 - Another scenery of an Armée de l'Air air base for MSFS by Alexandre Remy of the FAFZone.  This time BA116 Luxeuil-Saint Sauveur (LFSX).  The sceney includes bespoke airbase buildings, static aircraft and photoreal tile.

20 February 2022 - Pascal Colin of the FAFZone has painted a large collection of textures for the Mirage 2000-5F of EC 1/2 'Cigognes' at BA 116 Luxeuil-Saint-Sauveur (LFSX).  The collection includes textures for 22 aircraft and are intended for the Mirage 2000-5F of Roland Laborie.

12 February 2022 - Alexandre Remy of the FAFZone has released new Armée de l'Air air bases for MSFS.  The first is BA120 Cazaux (LFBC).  The sceney includes bespoke (new "common" scenery term since the release of MSFS) airbase buildings, static aircraft and photoreal tile.

2 February 2022 - Here is a set of two repaints for use with Henk Schuitemaker's P3Dv4 update to Kirk Olssen's Mirage F1.  The textures by Pascal Colin represent a Mirage F1C and a Mirage F1C-200 of EC 4/30 'Vexin' while stationed at BA188 Djibouti-Ambouli.

22 January 2022 - I've come across some new-to-me Mirage 2000 repaints.  The first is a special Mirage 2000-5F of EC 1/2 'Cigognes' at BA 116 Luxeuil-Saint-Sauveur (LFSX).  The special markings are for the Bleuet de France.  The textires are intended for the Mirage 2000-5F of Roland Laborie.

8 January 2022 - Let's start the new year with some scenery.  SkyDesigners have made a new scenery for BA188 Djibouti-Ambouli / USN Camp Lemonnier (HFFF).  Included are civilian, French, US, Japanese and Spanish detachments.  Since it is for MSFS it is really quite incredible looking.  Avaiable for purchase from SimMarket.
