17 December 2017 - L'iguane has completed two new repaints of the Armée de l'Air Mirage IIIBE in camouflage colors with markings for the CEV (Centre d'Essais en Vol) and EC 2/2 'Côte d'Or'.  The textures require his previous Mirage IIIB Upgrade Kit and the original Mirage IIIEBR by J.E. Narcizo.

10 December 2017 - L'iguane has completed two new Mirage III repaints for use with his Upgrade Kit and the original Mirage IIIEBR by J.E. Narcizo.  The repaints include a Brazilian Air Force F-103 (Mirage IIIEBR) in early livery and a Armée de l'Air Mirage IIIE wearing Mirage 2000 blue and gray air superiority camouflage and "Last Flight" decorative markings.

28 November 2017 - Another repaint by Mark Beale for the AI Mirage 2000 by Fernando Martinez.  This one is in the special markings applied to a Mirage 2000-5F of EC 1/2 'Cignones' at BA 116 Luxeuil Saint-Sauveur (LFSX) to honor the 100th Anniversary of the death of Captain Georges Guynemer.

19 November 2017 - Tom Weiss has updated some of his previous textures for the FSX/P3D Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  This update is for aircraft of EC 1/2 'Cigognes', currently operating out of BA 116 Luxeuil Saint-Sauveur.  The texture pack features four texture sets including a new commemorative Cigognes version (below).

12 November 2017 - A repaint by Mark Beale for the AI Mirage 2000 by Fernando Martinez.  This one is in the markings applied to a Mirage 2000D of ECE 5/330 at BA 118 Mont-de-Marsan (LFBM) for the 2016 NATO Tiger Meet.  Textures in both FS2004 and FSX are included.

4 November 2017 - I have almost made my way through all that I missed at MAIW over the past year.  This time is another from Mark Beale for the AI Mirage 2000D by Fernando Martinez.  Two aircraft of EC 1/3 'Navarre' at BA 133 Nancy-Ochey (LFSO) are presented in special markings to celebrate the 100 years of SPA 95 'Martinet' and SPA 153 'Gypaète'.

28 October 2017 - L'iguane has completed two repaints of the SAAF Mirage IIIEZ in 1974 bare metal scheme and late 1980 camouflage.  The textures require his previous Mirage IIIE Upgrade Kit and the original Mirage IIIEBR by J.E. Narcizo.

21 October 2017 - I found a Hellenic Air Force aircraft/scenery/traffic package by Mark Beale and Gary Barker.  The package includes textures for 46 Mirage 2000BG/EG of 331 Mira and 332 Mira and two retired Mirage F1CG of 342 and 334 Squadrons.  Scenery with runways, taxiways, and parking at Skiros AFB (LGSY) and Tanagra AFB (LGTG) and traffic files is also included.  The package is available in both FS9 and FSX formats.

15 October 2017 - Mark Beale sent me a set of textures for the MAIW Republic of China Air Force 499th TFW package.  Included are three textures for the Mirage 2000-5Di/Ei in FS2004 and hi-resolution FSX formats.  The special markings are for the 20th Anniversary of the Mirage 2000 in service with the ROCAF at Hsinchu AFB (RCPO).

8 October 2017 - Tom Weiss has updated his previous textures for the FSX/P3D Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  The aircraft, of EC 1/12 'Cambrésis' operating out of BA 103 Cambrai-Épinoy, feature five texture sets including special 90th Anniversary markings for SPA 89 (below).

30 September 2017 - Another Rafale repaint by Mark Beale for the MAIW Rafale.  This one is in the special markings applied to a Rafale C of ETR 5/33 'Aquitaine' at BA 113 Saint-Dizier for the 2017 Solo Display.

22 September 2017 - Mark Beale has painted a set of textures for the MAIW Rafale in the markings of a Rafale M of the Flotilla 11F based in BAN Landivisiau.  The markings were for the 2017 NATO Tiger Meet held at Landivisiau.

16 September 2017 - Mark Beale has painted a set of four textures for the Mirage 2000D at BA 133 'Nancy-Ochey' (LFSO).  Included are ETD 2/7 'Argonne' and EC 3/3 'Ardennes' with "Northern Stars" decoration worn at the 2016 Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP) at Albacete Air Base in Spain.  Also included are EC 1/3 'Navarre' to commemorate SPA 62 for 100th Anniversary and EC 2/3 'Champagne' to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of
SPA 67.

9 September 2017 - Tom Weiss has painted textures for the FSX/P3D Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh to represent a Mirage 2000C of EC 2/2 'Côte d'Or' at BA 102 Dijon Longvic (LFSD).  Three textures are available, clean and weathered blue/gray and a fictitious desert scheme.

2 September 2017 - Mark Beale painted textures for a Mirage 2000D of EC 2/3 'Champagne' at BA 133 'Nancy-Ochey' (LFSO).  The aircraft wears a special scheme for the 100th Anniversary of SPA 75 (1916/2016).  For use with the AI Mirage 2000D/N by Fernando Martinez.

26 August 2017 - Mark Beale painted textures for a Mirage 2000D of EC 3/3 'Ardennes' at BA 133 'Nancy-Ochey' (LFSO).  The aircraft wears special vanilla-chocolate SEPECAT Jaguar A type scheme for the 30th Anniversary of Ouadi Doum air raid.  These textures are for use with the AI Mirage 2000D/N by Fernando Martinez.

20 August 2017 - Three schemes by 'Drag' for the French Mirage F1 AI package by Nick Black and MAIW.  First is a Mirage F1CT in the scheme worn by one of EC 2/30 'Normandie-Niemen' at Colmar-Meyenheim before the dissolution of the squadron in 2009.  Second is a Mirage F1B of EC 3/33 'Lorraine' at Reims – Champagne in a scheme commemorating the 60th Anniversary of D-Day in 2004.  And last, a Mirage F1CR of ER 2/33 'Savoie' at Mont-de-Marsan in a digital scheme for 100 years of reconnaissance in 2003.

12 August 2017 - I found a repaint by "Orbiter.ch" of the Rafale M by Cyril Pioffet.  The textures are of the Swiss Air Force who decided not to select the Rafale for their next fighter.  The documentations states it is for FSX but it works in FS2004 as well.

5 August 2017 - I have found another pair of Mirage 2000 textures in the markings for the Republic of China Air Force.  The textures are painted by Chen Hsin-Hung for the FSX/P3D Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh and represent the 20th Anniversary scheme.

29 July 2017 - Tom Weiss has painted textures for the FSX/P3D Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh to represent a Mirage 2000-5 of the Republic of China Air Force.  The clean and weathered textures are for the 2nd TFW at Hsinchu AFB (RCPO).

21 July 2017 - Mark Beale painted textures for a Mirage 2000C of EC 2/5 'Ile de France' at BA 115 'Orange-Caritat' (LFMO).  The aircraft wears special markings for the 75 Anniversary of the squadron (1941/2016).  These textures are for use with the AI Mirage 2000C by Fernando Martinez.

10 July 2017 - A repaint by Tom Weiss for the FSX/P3D Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  This one is a Mirage 2000EM assigned to the 82 Squadron of the Egypt Air Force at Gebel El Basur (HE0T).  Two versions are included -- clean and weathered.

2 July 2017 - Dan Hult included textures for the AI Rafale of Nick Black/MAIW in his Indian Air Force AI repaint package.  The bonus textures include both the Rafale B and Rafale C.

23 June 2017 - Here is a Mirage 2000H of the Indian Air Force No.7 Sqn 'Battle Axes' by Tom Weiss.  Textures are provided for both the standard blue/gray scheme as well as their unique tan/green scheme.  The textures are for use with the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  Unfortunetly there is no FS9/FSX scenery for Maharajpur Air Force Station.  If you know of one please let me know.

10 June 2017 - Another repaint by Tom Weiss for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  This one is a Mirage 2000 assigned to the 114 Combat Wing of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force (HTAF) at Tanagra AB, Greece (LGTG).

28 May 2017 - Mark Beale painted three schemes that were worn to mark the retirement in November 2015 of the Mirage after 43 years of service with the Fuerza Aérea Argentina.  The textures are for aircraft among the AI Mirage Series by Michael Pearson.  Included are a Mirage IIIDA painted in an Argentina flag scheme (below).  The second is an IAI Dagger B (Finger) and the third is a Mirage IIIEA.  All were assigned to Grupo Aéreo 6 de Caza at Tandil AB.

21 May 2017 - While visiting the forum at Military AI Works I found two repaints for the AI Rafale by Nick Black/MAIW.  The first by Mark Beale is a Rafale M in the scheme worn at the 2014 NATO Tiger Meet.  The second by Drag is a Rafale B in 50th Birthday of the FAS (Forces Aériennes Stratégiques, Strategic Air Forces) scheme.

19 May 2017 - The website transfer has been completed.  There was a lot of behind-the-scenes work since the domian name was somehow controlled by a third entity who wasn't convinced I was the owner of the website.  But it is all back under my own control now.  If you have benefitted from this website please consider a small donation so I can keep it going.

15 May 2017 - A new texture set was released by Steven Kreusser for the Mirage III/5/Nesher by Mark Harper.  The scheme represents a Mirage IIIOA in the "Fanta Can" scheme worn by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Aircraft Research and Development Unit (ARDU) in the 1980s.

10 May 2017 - Dan Hult painted textures for three aircraft types operated by Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC).  Included with the Hunter and L-39 fleets and flightplans are six textures for the IAI Kfir C2.  The textures are intended for the AI USMC Kfir C2 (F-21A) by Mike Pearson.

5 May 2017 - Mark Beale has painted a texture set for the Super Etendard of Nick Black.  The scheme was worn by a Super Etendard Modernisé of the Flotilla 17F based in BAN Landivisiau for the retirement ceremony of the Super Etendard in 1916.

29 April 2017 - Luca Paoloni painted the Kfir C2 by Eduardo Fadul in the fictitious markings worn by the "MiG" aircraft flown in the movie "Iron Eagle".

19 April 2017 - L'iguane has released two FS2004 Mirage III packages designed around the Mirage III of J.E Narcizo.  Each includes new textures by L'iguane and modified FDE, panel, and visual model file.  See the Readme file for requirements and credits.

10 April 2017 - There has been some renewed interest in the Rafale M by Bruno Mérelle (Thor's Hammer).  It was brought to my attention that there was a problem with my repaints when used with an external cockpit such as the FSX-Acceleration F-18.  After reviewing the problem I have updated my texture packages and cockpit merge instructions accordingly.  The new packages are intended for use with the v2.2 update installed.

5 April 2017 - Another installment of repaints by Tom Weiss for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  Both are for Armée de l'Air aircraft in the markings of EC 1/12 'Cambresis'.  One is assigned to SPA166 (Black Eagle) and the other (below) is assigned to SPA89 (Wasp).  Tom has also updated his previous Armée de l'Air Mirage 2000C repaints for EC 3/11 'Corse' and EC 1/2 'Cigognes' with improved normal and specular templates.

14 March 2017 - Celebrating Pi Day with another repaint from Tom Weiss for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  In this installment a non-fictional aircraft in the markings of 1st Air Defense Group 'Jaguars' of the Força Aérea Brasileira at Anápolis Air Base, Brasil (SBAN).

4 March 2017 - Antonio Diaz has painted a new set of textures for the Mirage F1-200 by Kirk Olsson.  The textures represent F1M 14-37 of Ala 14, 142 Sqn of the Ejército d'Aire as it appeared at the 2007 NATO Tiger Meet.

25 February 2017 - An installment of two repaints by Tom Weiss for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  These are both fictitious representatives of USAF Air National Guard units.  Included are the 162nd Fighter Squadron "Cougars" of the Ohio ANG and the 194th Fighter Squadron of the Califonia ANG.

12 February 2017 - I have found an improved scenery for my favorite Armée de l'Air base.  Gérard Finaltéri, webmaster at Virtual Cors'Air, has made updates to the scenery for BA 126 Solanzara (LFKS) he released in December 2009 with Christian Santoni.  He has also put together several new traffic files to update the visiting aircraft to include the Rafale.  I recommend using this scenery with the Hi-Definition photoreal ground polygon by Gilbert Gaussorgues.

2 February 2017 - Another installment of repaints by Tom Weiss for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  These are all fictitious representatives of real Israeli Air Force F-16 or F-15 units.  Included are 115 Agressor Squadron (The Flying Dragon Squadron), 106 Squadron (The Spearhead Squadron), 119 Squadron (The Bat Squadron -- below), and 109 Squadron (The Valley Squadron).

21 January 2017 - Sim Skunk Works have given an update on the status of their forthcoming Mirage F1.  "F1 development has been stopped for a while to give precedence to update F104 S/G with new radar and new weapon.  It will resume soon, hope to have something serious to show you within the first quarter of 2017."  That is good news and hopefully anything learned from the F-104G/S update will be applied to their Mirage F1.

18 January 2017 - Today is the birthday of Bertrand Barbé, a long time contributor of texture repaints for Mirage and Rafale subjects.  Bertrand has painted two textures for the Rafale Marine by Roland Laborie.  The first represents Rafale M n°27 of Flotille 11F as it appeared at the 2014 NATO Tiger Meet.  The second represents Rafale M n°32 as it was painted for the 90th Anniversary ceremonies of Flotille 11F in 2012.

8 January 2017 - La Royal French Navy (RFN) have released their new maritime AI Traffic for FCLP (Field Carrier Landing Practice).  All necessary scenery files are included as well as Alizé, Crusader, Etendard IVM and IVP, Hawkeye, Rafale, Super-Etendard, and Zephyr aircraft.  More information here.
