7 December 2016 - Tom Weiss has painted several new schemes for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  In this installment I present three in Arm�e de l'Air markings.  Available in three schemes of clean, weathered, and (fictitious) desert are aircraft from EC 1/2 'Cigognes' and EC 3/11 'Corse' (below).  The third aircraft represents the Prototype scheme worn by Dassault Aviation.

29 November 2016 - Anyone who likes French A�ronavale aircraft, carriers, scenery, gauges, etc., should be familiar with the work of the team at La Royal French Navy.  They have made two recent announcements.  The first is that their website host is now Restauravia.  The second news is that they are working on a new project to place AI aircraft at the French Naval air bases included with their RFN Scenery package.  I have tested a preview and have put together more information here.

21 November 2016 - Rodolfo Valery has compiled an update package for the Super Etendard by Romain Lucas.  This is basically an update to the FSX/P3D update package by Philippe Wallaert from April 2015 year with 60MB of additional textures from various repainters and images from the web.

5 November 2016 - Martial Feron has painted a new texture for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  The textures represent the 75-Year Anniversary scheme for EC 2/5 'Ile de France' at Base A�rienne 115 Orange-Caritat.

28 October 2016 - Tom Weiss has painted several new schemes for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  I'll start with two in fictitious USAF markings.  The first represents an aircraft with the Oregon ANG (below) and the second is painted in 1960's SEA camouflage to represent "SCAT XXVII" as flown by Col. Robin Olds.

16 October 2016 - I have found several repaints for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  Feel free to discover them all at once yourselves but I will be adding them to the listings here slowly.  The first two are by John 'Speckfire' Sark and present the aircraft in bare metal and camouflaged schemes with markings for 101 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force.

25 September 2016 - Another repaint by Mark Beale for the AI Mirage 2000 by Fernando Martinez.  This one is in the special markings applied to a Mirage 2000-5F of EC 3/11 'Corse' at BA 188 Djibouti�Ambouli (HDAM) to honor the 100th anniversary of SPA 88 and SPA 69.

20 September 2016 - Alexandre Remy has updated his scenery package for Base Aerienne Cazaux (LFBC) for Prepar3D.

6 September 2016 - Sim Skunk Works have announced that the first version of their upcoming Mirage F1 will be the "C" air-air fighter model.  They are basing their cockpit on the F1CE flown by the Ej�rcito del Aire F1CE.  They intend to follow with the "E" air-ground attack model with the cockpit based on the F1EE.

30 August 2016 - Rodolfo Valery has put together a new package for the Ouragon by Thinus Pretorius consisting of his own textures and mods to the cockpit.  The description states it is intended for FSX but the base virtual cockpit of this Ouragon, made over 10 years ago, is showing its age.  The package includes 11 texture sets for France, Israel, India, and El Salvador.

27 August 2016 - Sim Skunk Works have posted three work-in-progress images of their upcoming Mirage F1 on their Facebook page.  She is starting to take shape.

20 August 2016 - Rick Mackintosh has released a new texture for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  The fictional scheme is based on the F-16s of the USAF Minnesota Air National Guard "Bulldogs".

14 August 2016 - M Khan has released a repaint for the Mirage III by Mark Harper.  The textures represent a Mirage IIIEP of the Pakistan Air Force No. 7 Squadron "Bandits".  Only the textures are included.

6 August 2016 - Rick Mackintosh has released a new texture for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  The fictional scheme is based on a red-tailed F-16 of the USAF Alabama Air National Guard.

30 July 2016 - Christoph Tantow has completed two new fictional yet believable texture sets for the Mirage 2000C by Metal2Mesh.  The first wears markings for an aircraft operated by the Flyvev�bnet - Royal Danish Air Force.  The second in a similar camouflage scheme wears markings for the Koninklijke Luchtmacht - Royal Netherlands Air Force.

23 July 2016 - Rick Mackintosh has completed another in his series of textures for the Mirage 2000C by Metal2Mesh.  The aircraft wears fictitious markings for 79 Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force.

16 July 2016 - Rick Mackintosh has completed two new texture sets for the Mirage 2000C by Metal2Mesh.  Both in Canadian colors.  The first aircraft wears fictitious markings for the civilian airline Air Canada.  The second aircraft wears fictitious markings for the Royal Canadian Air Force.

10 July 2016 - A.F. Scrub has created a new Dassault MD.450 Ouragan.  The package is designed for both FS2004 and FSX.  Two textures sets are included representing an aircraft with the Patrouille de France and an example from the Israel Defence Force/Air Force.  The complete cockpit uses gauges from freeware Alphasim aircraft.

6 July 2016 - Rick Mackintosh has completed a new texture set for the Mirage 2000C by Metal2Mesh.  The aircraft wears a "Lizard" camouflage scheme with fictitious markings for the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

4 July 2016 - Sim Skunk Works has announced that they will be developing a new Mirage F1.  Based on the image they have shown it may be an F1M of the Ej�rcito del Aire de Espa�a.  It will be made for FSX and P3D and will be TacPack enabled.

29 June 2016 - Rick Mackintosh has released a new texture for the Mirage 2000C from Metal2Mesh.  The scheme represents the black and red Mirage 2000C demonstrator also know as the Mirage 2000-10 in the movie "Les Chevaliers du Ciel".

27 June 2016 - A weapon configuration file for use with the Captain Sim 'Weapon for FSX' product is available for the Mirage F1 by Kirk Olssen.

7 June 2016 - Drew (Bel Geode) Bolton has taken an interest in the Mirage F1 and has made some new Camera Definitions for use with the Mirage F1 by Kirk Olssen and updates by others.

1 June 2016 - Antonio Diaz has painted a new set of textures for the Rafale M by Roland Laborie.  The textures represent an aircraft of Flotille 11F at the 2016 NATO Tiger Meet held at Zaragoza AB in Spain.

22 May 2016 - Mark Beale has painted a new texture for the AI Mirage 2000N by Fernando Martinez.  The textures represent the 100-Year Anniversary scheme for the Ramex Delta tactical display team of EC 2/4 'Lafayette' at Base A�rienne 125 Istres-Le Tub�.  The textures are available in 16 and 32-bit format for FS2004 and FSX.

9 May 2016 - A new repaint for the Metal2Mesh Mirage 2000C is available.  Two texture sets are included for fictitious Red Bull Demonstration Team aircraft.

16 March 2016 - Benjamin Bertrand has made five new textures for the Rafale C of Cyril Pioffet.  They are all fictitional but are very interesting and well done.

6 March 2016 - At the suggestion of a site visitor I have done maintenance on the Links Page.  A lot of good websites for reference and inspiration have gone away.  Just a reminder to save information when you see it because it may not be there next time.

19 February 2016 - A slow month so far.  Still working with VPA to get the FS2004 Rafale packages together.  In the meantime, I spotted some FSX splashscreens by Mark Cranko over at Simviation.  The first features the SAAF Mirage III and the second features the SAAF Atlas Cheetah.

23 January 2016 - This website has been asked by Vincent Hellegouarch of VPA to host and be an officially authorized source of their Rafale C and Rafale B for FS2004.  I have agreed and will have the links available shortly.

14 January 2016 - Restauravia have released v1.1 of their Mirage IIIC.  In addition to fixes and improvements the new package includes textures and a new clean visual model for the Mirage IIIC flown by Jacqueline Auriol to set a closed circuit speed record in 1962.

3 January 2016 - L'iguane has repainted the FS2004 Mirage IIIB of Patrice Grange in the Arm�e de l'Air markings of EC 2/2 C�te d'Or stationed at Dijon-Longvic AB (LFSD).  He has also modified the visual model to add some shine.
