Throttle / Flaps / Spoiler

throttle.gif (13277 bytes)

The Spoiler lever setting is totally variable and it can be positioned anywhere between fully retracted or fully extended. It should be fully retracted for take-off.

The Flaps lever setting is more restricted in that there are only four positions (0, 8, 20, & 40 degrees).

The throttle is also variable. Reverse thrust which can be engaged on the ground and used to slow the aircraft on landing is activated by pressing the f2 key, after the aircraft has slowed sufficiently the throttle can be reset to normal by pressing f1.
