Navigation Instruments
The navigation instruments are fairly standard for FS98 and anyone familiar with the default 737-400 should have no problem using these gauges. There are two instruments here that deserve a little explanation though. At the bottom left corner is an engine rpm gauge which is very useful as a guide not only to engine revs, but also as a basic indication of throttle setting (because the throttle is only visible on the radio stack console by pressing SHIFT + 2).
The airspeed indicator shown on this panel is actually a compromise between what is realistic and what is practical for FS98. On the real aircraft there is actually only a mach meter at this location. The gauge shown here shows both conventional airspeed as well as the mach number.
